Product Description

The UNIMAC 1800W Auch series 2 in 1 Drywall Sander/Vacuum is designed for sanding larger areas that would be too cumbersome, time consuming and difficult to finish using a traditional hand sander.

The powerful 1800W watt dust-sealed motor has an easy-access 6-Speed System that controls the revolutions per minute (RPM) up to 3200 per minute. Speeds 1-3 are ideal for soft wall and fine sanding; 3-6 are ideal for coarse sanding.

At just 2.8kg you’ll put the finishing touches on construction and drywall renovation work with ease making it ideal for both weekend DIY weekend warriors or seasoned pros. The unique design with automatic vacuum functionality feeding a 20 litre dust bag means clean-up time is minimal.

Twelve BONUS 225mm sanding discs in varying grits are included, and attach easily via the strong hook and loop fasteners to the sander head.

Order your UNIMAC Auch series Drywall Sander/Vacuum today and knock the job over smoothy!

View MoreDid the job, saved me plenty of time: I was sceptical of how much dust would actually be collected by the vacuum and was pleasantly surprised! I\'ve been using 150 and 240 grit on the machine and I got very little detectible dust. About the only time is when I haven\'t run it long enough (10 secs or so) off of the wall or ceiling and there is some residual left in the collection plate! If you only need to do a small job such as screw holes from lifting sheets then the 180mm might be a little easier but I went for the 225 as I was sanding a large section where I\'d needed to fill about 150mm and the size of the head gave me a good finish on a greater area to make sure there were no peaks or ridges. I was also smoothing out the lip around the screw holes before then plastering over them. Would recommend adding some 60 - 80 grit sheets to your order if you\'re a poor or first time DIYer with plaster like me as it would have saved me a little more time on the large section to be a little more aggressive on the over spread of plaster that I\'d used. The Bunnings equivalent is a limited offer/short run so you\'d be lucky to find one. This is around the same price and has the added advantage of a removable section so you can get right in to the corners. This was handy for me where the ceiling sheets met the cornice as when they lifted back up they pulled on the existing filler and tore along the joins (in hindsight I should have run a blade across the joint before lifting them!). The only down side is it can get a little heavy if you\'re using it for an extended period. I also made sure I didn\'t give it more than a 15 minute duty cycle before allowing it to cool down just in case... View Less
