HISTORY

Back in the early days, Edisons founders Dave & Paul started the business from their lounge room. Unhappy with the retail shopping experience in Australia when looking to buy a chainsaw, they decided to look for a solution that could provide the convenience of online shopping and value for money, something that was lacking within the Australian home, garden and outdoor machinery market. With the knowledge that international prices were significantly lower and the need for a reliable chainsaw being top of mind, Dave & Paul went direct to the manufacturer and Edisons was born! We’re proud of our history and take pride knowing that our business started by wanting to give hard-working Aussies the best value for money.
